Established in 1979 in East Ayrshire, Scotland. Since its inception, GLENROYAL has been developing bags, wallets, and accessories using high-grade bridle leather. These products are handmade by craftsmen, inheriting traditional materials and techniques.






High-Quality Bridle Leather
GLENROYAL's identity, bridle leather, is used for the main body. Originally developed as equestrian equipment for British nobility, it is known for its durability. The leather is thoroughly impregnated with oil and wax, enhancing the strength of the fiber structure and making it relatively resistant to water among leather products.

You can enjoy the deepening of color and luster as it ages, while maintaining its robustness, water repellency, and the natural expression of leather.



Enjoy the Patina of Aging
GLENROYAL's bridle leather, rubbed with cow fat and beeswax by hand, tightens the fibers and increases durability. As it is used, it develops a shine, bringing out its beauty and suppleness.

You may notice a white powdery substance called bloom on the surface of the leather; this is a unique characteristic of bridle leather. It is caused by the beeswax rubbed into the leather surfacing. (Some products may not exhibit bloom due to individual differences.)

Wiping the bloom with a dry cloth or brushing it will bring out a deep, lustrous shine.
